T20 is a game where the momentum can shift from one side to another in the blink of an eye. There can be a destructive innings played by a batter or a stunning spell of bowling to change the course of the game.

So in the short history of the WPL, we have seen bowlers who have found success in this competitive league either by keeping things tight or fetching a truckload of wickets. The league has some top-class bowlers who have bowled some memorable spells en route to having heaps of wickets in their tally.

So we will look at the top 10 best bowling figures delivered by bowlers in WPL history.

3: Marizanne Kapp, Tara Norris (both from the Delhi Capitals), and Kim Garth of the Gujarat Giants picked up a 5-wicket haul each in the first season. This number expands to 6 when we consider a bowler taking 4 or more wickets in an innings.

1: Sobhana Asha became the first Indian bowler to pick up a fifer in the WPL and she did it in the second season against UPW as she skittled 5 batters for 22 runs.

Hayley Matthews of MI has done it 4 times, while Issy Wong and Saika Ishaque, both from MI, have taken 3-wicket hauls three times each. The trio were instrumental in Mumbai clinching the title in the inaugural edition.
