Key Insights
Despite being in different colours, Dhawan was one of the most consistent players in the tournament. Except for his two years with MI and one 500+ seasons.
One thing that remained out of range from Dhawan’s shelf of appreciation was the Orange Cap in the IPL, to which he came so close in the season of 2020.
The Indian opener is the first and currently the only batter to score more than 6000 IPL runs while batting as an opener.
He is one of the highest four-hitters in IPL history, even after he is not part of the tournament.
